Pause Plein Air (outdoor pause) is a canoe - kayak - SUP rental business and boat transport service located in La Conception at 2123 Place Des Tulipes, exit 126 of Highway 117, near the covered bridge. Steve Pilon, owner since 2015 and native of La Conception, as well as his dynamic team, invite you to come and live a memorable experience.
Our mission is to make you discover the nautical pleasures of the majestic riviere Rouge (Red River). We offer a descent by canoe or kayak in a peaceful environment where young and old can paddle safely. A bus will transport you to the public descent of La Conception where the start of your journey of 12 km is. Then, you will have all the time desired to enjoy your day, since the descent ends at our company. So no bus waiting at the end of the activity nor stress over time.
The journey of 12 km account sumptuous beaches of sight. This portion of the river is suitable for beginners who wish to learn the sport of paddle in softness. The many shallow places will allow you to stop at any time to picnic, to bathe in clear water or to enjoy the beaches with family.
The descent of the Red River to La Conception is done in a relaxed spirit, everyone goes at his own pace. Depending on your choice of distance, the trip is about 3 hours to 5 hours paddling, which leaves you ample time to spend time on the river while enjoying the joys of summer.
We suggest that people over 200 lbs or more call us in order to choose their boat well in advance and ensure a better nautical activity.
